Sean Strickland shares his experience of fighting in Philippines - "Most f*** up place I've ever seen."

UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland has fought in Philippines and according to him it’s one of the most f*** places he has ever been to.

Before Sean Strickland joined the UFC, he used to fight in a promotion called King of the Cage (KOTC) and in 2013, he fought a Japanese fighter called Yusuke Sakashita for the KOTC middleweight championship at Mall of Asia Arena, in Manila, Philippines. Strickland defeated Sakashita via unanimous decision to win the KOTC middleweight championship.

His win over Yusuke Sakashita put him on 12-0 win streak, and after his split decision against Matt Lagler at KOTC on August 29, 2013, he joined the UFC.

Strickland wrote in his recent post on ‘X’ and shared the experience of him spending some time at the Philippines, and witnessing some horrible things-

“I fought in the Philippines once.. The most f**d up place I’ve ever seen. There were girls advertising their age. Very young. Wealthy men, ex UFC fighters with young prostitutes on their arms. These dirty fu**s vacation in those Asian countries. It’s not even hidden. Scum.”
